Guitar :Ibanez S Series Prestige (2004/ 2005). I like the colour, the style, the action, the feel, the shape - it's comfortable. The pick-ups are quite good for stock pick ups. The new ZR Tremolo Bridge is great - it never goes out of tune and is quite smooth. But my dream guitar is any M Series guitar from ESP - anyone want to sponsor me? *Laughs*.

Amplifier : Marshall JCM 2000 Triple Super Lead 100. I only use the clean and FX loop. I run my sound through a Boss GT-8.

Effects : Boss GT-8. I mainly use the 5150 amp model for my dirty tones and some chorus for leads and a little bit of chorus for my solos. Sometimes I also use the Wah pedal but I rarely use other effects such as Phaser, Flanger, etc because I prefer my sound not to be too "effect processed". Although all these effects help to improve your sound, your tone should actually come from your fingers, your pick attack and the way you articulate notes.

Remarks : I started learning Classical after 4 years of being self-taught. I started a Music course at a local university in Philippines, but chose to continue another Music course at a college in Singapore. I am now currently studying Jazz - but play in a Metal band *Laughs*. I just joined the band, "FWB", so am still finding my place where I can contribute my skills, knowledge and creativity and hopefully develop my own style.
