General Info : Gregory is currently playing in a death metal band Archaic Winter from Durham, North Carolina United States. Archaic Winter is the work of two individuals who love and have a great respect for metal and the metal lifestyle. Greg and Peter have managed to crate the sounds of Archaic Winter despite the trials and tribulations of life. With practically no rehearsal time life has been given to the frost bitten mayhem of Archaic Winter!

Guitar : Well, my main guitar is a NJ B.C. Rich Warlock with a Seymour Duncan Invader pick up in the bridge position. I set my own action to my taste. This guitar plays like a dream because I took the time to set it up myself. It is built for metal but I can get a few nice clean tones out of it.

Amplifier : Well, I used a Peavey Special 12 Trans Tube amp. It is build rock solid and gives me everything I need. I played thru a Hartke 4 x 12 Cab. and most of my tone comes from my effects board. This amp is a great all purposes amp...it can deliver anything from gutty death metal to twangy country western tones. Also, the Trans Tube technology allows me to get the same tone at almost any volume.

Effects : Well, I have been using Boss effect pedals for years now. Don't know what I could say that has not already been said. They can take a beating a still deliver the tones they are famous for. I use many different distortion pedals but I always have the GE-7, CS-3. DD, 3 and NS-2 in my line.

Remarks : Well, only that I am not a gear head. I love the tones that I get from my guitar rig and my tone fits my style well. I feel metal is a very powerful form of music and I love a sick polished raw tone. Metal is not my livelihood but it is my lifestyle and I am very greatful for any all support I get from the sick metal heads around the globe!
