General Info : Inventor of the 7 String Electric Guitar (2 patents issued in the USA), Heavy Metal Mandolin, Celloblaster, Pentasystem, etc. One of the very first Fender Signature Artists together with Eric Clapton and Yngwie Malmsteen. Current band includes Guitar God Albert Lee, Drums God Virgil Donati, Bass God Dave La Rue', etc.

Guitar : Currently my main guitar is the Fender Maestro Alex Gregory Signature 7 String Stratocaster. This is the first Rock 7 String in history (see video on profile). It is tuned either E to high a or Low A to high d. It is currently available through the Fender Custom Shop via authorized Fender dealers. I also use Gibson Les Pauls, Pentasystem instruments and vintage Fender Mandocasters.

Amplifier : I only use vintage Marshall Majors. Some are Soldano modified.

Effects : I no longer use effects except for Maxon compressor.
