Guitar : I've been using Alberto Custom Guitars for 6 years. Alberto Guitars are hugely popular in the Indian underground metal circuit for their quality, design, sturdiness and crisp tones. Recently switched to the Ibanez RG7321, but still use the Alberto for recordings. The Ibanez 7string guitar is supercool, definitely one of the best I've owned so far. The guitar comes with the standard tuning set at BEADGBE. My tuning alternates between AEADGBE (Jazz tuning) and AEADF#BE (Custom tuning) which makes it easier for me to play solos that I originally composed on the six-string guitar. It's got a very bass-heavy tone and it's equally good when it comes to playing solos. I even installed an EMG-707 pick up and it sounds even more badass. Overall, I would highly recommend this guitar for guys into heavy chugging riffs.
Amplifier : Since the early days of the band, I have been using Stranger amps, Indian made amps. Most of the gigs we do here, the stage gear is always provided, most of the times being common for all bands on the bill, since it saves time during the changeover. But I do take along a couple of Stranger amps as backups.
Of the amps which I have played live, I have lately begun to enjoy the feel and sound of Laney amps and soon I plan to buy the Laney LV300H and try and experiment with different cabinets. I even wish to buy a 'Krankenstein' someday.
Effects : I use AMT pedals for distortion and Korg AX1500G for additional effects.
Remarks : Live Hardcore, Live Metal!
